TMRWD Health is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2045 for the emissions we control directly (Scope 1 and 2) and by 2050 for our entire supply chain footprint. This aligns with the "Delivering a Net Zero NHS" roadmap and exceeds the baseline requirements for Evergreen Level 1.

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases produced prior to the introduction of reduction strategies. As a Legal Manufacturer and Medical Device Innovation Hub, TMRWD Health maintains oversight of the full product lifecycle. 2025 serves as our baseline year.

• Waste Generated in Operations: $0.80\tCO2​e. Reflects strict bio-waste protocols for our Class II device R&D.
• Business Travel & Employee Commuting: $1.85\tCO2​e. Minimized through a "Digital-First" administrative strategy.
• Downstream Transport & Distribution: $1.07\tCO2​e. Emissions associated with the final delivery of devices to NHS Trusts and healthcare providers.

4. Emissions Reduction Targets

TMRWD Health has set the following absolute reduction targets:

• 2040 Target: Achieve a 90% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions.

Paperless Operations: Fully digitized our supply chain documentation and administrative workflows, eliminating paper-based waste and associated physical storage energy needs.

Future Reduction Plans (2026-2028)

• Supply Chain Decarbonization: Implementing a "Supplier Code of Conduct" requiring our primary manufacturing partners to provide facility-level carbon reporting by 2027.
• Renewable Procurement: Migrating our UK-based quality testing and R&D facilities to 100% REGO-backed renewable energy tariffs.
• Circular Economy: Developing a take-back scheme for end-of-life Class II Medical Devices to ensure raw materials are recovered and repurposed.

6. Declaration and Sign-off

This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans. Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard.
